Poppyseed Oil

Through the dancing poppies stole a breeze most softly
lulling to my soul.
— John Keats

In the Victorian language of flowers, poppies symbolised eternal sleep and imagination, and more recently poppies have become a symbol of remembrance of soldiers who have died during war. Poppies also have traditional associations wth love, fertility and abundance; on St. Andrews night young girls would scatter poppy seeds behind them to dream about their future husbands.

The oil from poppyseeds has a rich profile of essential fatty acids to moisturise and reduce transepidermal water loss. Due to it’s high level of linoleic acid, poppyseed oil is wonderful for mature, dry and sensitive skin.

USES: Deeply moisturising, softens and smooths the skin, reduces inflammation.
