Five-minute sleep massage

Touch is one of the most soothing senses and this oil self-massage is based on Ayurvedic principals to relax the body before sleep.

Londe’s Botanic Evening Oil was designed for this, but you can use any type of body oil, coconut oil from your pantry or even a favourite moisturiser.

  • Warm the oil between your hands or fingertips.

  • Take several calm breaths whilst slowly massaging your forehead (third eye).

  • Move onto your face and neck in soft upwards circles, paying attention to any tense areas like jaw or temples.

  • Spend time gently massaging your ears to help release endorphins.

  • And finally, your hardworking feet. One foot at a time, start with your ankle and heel, then slowly work along the top and sole, taking special care with each toe.

  • Slip on a soft pair of socks, wash your hands well and get ready for peaceful rest.
